Triggers and escalations
The Allegra Workflow Engine supports you through automatic triggers and escalations. This way, you can easily represent Service Level Agreements and never let your customers wait long for an answer.
Guards
With Guards, you can control who is allowed to do what in the workflow. This way, you can, for example, map out an approval process or check whether conditions inside and outside of the system have been met before a state change. Standard Guards are the roles and attribute values that can be checked. More complex conditions can be implemented using Groovy scripts.
Actions
With every state transition, you can perform actions. For example, you can change the responsible editor, send an email, lock the task against editing, or transfer data to external systems.
Many actions are already built in and can be easily selected. If that's not enough, you can run scripts and thereby accomplish virtually anything imaginable.
