With Allegra 9.0, we laid the groundwork in early 2026: a modern administration interface, Java 21 and Spring Boot as the technical foundation, and comprehensive security and performance improvements. The platform is now ready for the next big steps.
Artificial intelligence takes centre stage this year. With Allegra AI, we are bringing AI-powered text features into the product — automatic summaries, generated release notes, and intelligent text suggestions, first in the cloud and, in the medium term, on-premise as well. In parallel, we are building a new, intelligent search with mega menus that cuts the path to the right information down to far fewer clicks.
More building blocks are planned for the second half of the year: a reworked REST API V3 with MCP integration for the knowledge base, extended time tracking with better reporting, and structured approval and sign-off workflows with a full audit trail.
