Security, Administration and Stability

Allegra version 9.0.2 focuses on security and administration. The server’s logging behaviour was reworked from the ground up, and sign-in via OpenID Connect now covers additional providers. On top of that come new settings for administrators and numerous refinements for everyday work with items.

Important: Please clear your browser cache after the update to ensure that all changes are loaded correctly.

If you are using the Allegra Service Desk application, please ensure it is updated as well to maintain compatibility.

Improvements

The new setting system.registration.notifyAdminsByLoginNames holds a comma-separated list of login names. Every user listed there is informed by email about each new registration, each in their own language. If the setting is empty or missing, no notification is sent. Previously this email always went to the account with the login name “admin” only.
